THE ART OF DRAMATIC WRITING
These books and their Hollywood story consultant authors, emphasize that the only successful films are those that are built upon true value-based premises where the moral decision making of the characters leads to natural consequences familiar to audiences. That is, the story's connection with the audience is first on the characters' psychological or inner journey, which must drive naturally the outward or physical action. What is seen and heard on the screen, therefore, becomes a metaphor for what the movie is really about -- the characters' emotional or spiritual arc.
If filmmakers ignore this foundational principle, their stories are doomed at the box office, as so many films with top writers, directors, actors, and budgets experience -- they are empty shells of action that are not about the values that affect the lives of audiences. But if these principles are consistently applied to each character, scene, and dramatic beat, thus illuminating all the other techniques brought to the craft, the story telling will be empowered and it will deeply connect with audiences.
A business plan, log lines, synopses, and screenplays are available to qualified partners.

COMPLETED MAINSTREAM PROJECTS
It's not a film, but perhaps some music videos are in the works for this delightful album of story-friendly songs about family life. We just completed production and initial release of Double Dog Dare in Nov. 2009.

In no particular order, you'll find a collection of various clips and excerpts at our

NICHE CLIPS
And while YouTube has improved their quality recently, there are still limitations. So, here some some of the same, and longer clips, in better quality... at least for the web.
